How to Factory Reset — BlackBerry Storm3
The BlackBerry Storm3 is BlackBerry OS 6.1 device with 512MB and 8GB internal storage. It features a 3.7", TFT, 65K colors, 480.0x800.0 display and is available in Black.
The Storm3 is equipped with a Removable Li-Ion 1230 mAh battery, a 5 MP, 720p main camera. The device uses a Mini-SIM configuration.
Factory Reset on the BlackBerry Storm3 works differently than it does on Android, since this platform uses its own menus and terminology. Follow the steps below, written specifically for this device rather than adapted from Android instructions.
All personal data, accounts, and apps will be permanently removed.
Back up your data first (BlackBerry Desktop Software or BlackBerry Protect if available)
Open the app menu and go to Options (or Settings) > Security Options > General Settings
Press the Menu key (or long-press) and select 'Wipe Handheld'
Type the word 'blackberry' when prompted to confirm
The device erases all data and restarts — this can take several minutes
