Airplane Mode on your phone disables all wireless transmissions including cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS in a single tap. It is required on aircraft during flight and is also useful for conserving battery in areas with no signal, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, or minimizing distractions. Individual wireless features like Wi-Fi can be re-enabled while Airplane Mode is still active.

1

On your phone: quick toggle: pull down the notification shade and tap the 'Airplane mode' tile

2

Or: press and hold Power button and tap 'Airplane mode'

3

Or: Settings > Connections (Samsung) / Settings > Network > Airplane mode

4

When ON: all wireless signals are disabled β€” calls, data, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth

5

You can re-enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth individually while in Airplane mode

6

Toggle Airplane mode on then off to reset network connections quickly

7

Useful when you have no signal β€” saves battery significantly
