How to Change Language — Xiaomi MIUI / HyperOS
Applies to all Xiaomi MIUI / HyperOS phones and tablets. Menu names may vary slightly by Android version.
Changing the display language on your phone updates the system interface, menus, notifications and pre-installed apps to your preferred language. Android supports hundreds of languages and allows you to set multiple languages in priority order. The change takes effect immediately after saving and does not affect your personal data, downloaded apps or their content.
On your phone: open Settings
Tap 'System' > 'Language & input'
Tap 'Languages' > 'Add a language'
Find and select your language
Drag it to the top of the list
Tap 'Apply'
