How to Speed Up Phone β Nothing OS
Applies to all Nothing OS phones and tablets. Menu names may vary slightly by Android version.
Over time your phone can become slower due to accumulated cache files, too many background apps, low storage space, or a fragmented system. Most slowdowns can be resolved without a factory reset by clearing caches and reducing background activity. If all else fails a factory reset will restore the device to its full original performance.
On your phone: restart the phone to clear RAM
Clear Cache Partition via Recovery Mode
Delete old files: Settings > Storage
Clear app caches: Settings > Apps > [app] > Storage > Clear cache
Enable Developer Options β set all animation scales to 0.5x or Off
Force stop unnecessary background apps via Settings > Apps
Factory reset is the last resort β restores full performance
