How to Soft Reset — i-mate JAMin
The i-mate JAMin is a 2006 Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 PocketPC device powered by the TI OMAP 850 with 64MB and 128MB | 64MB internal storage. It features a 2.8", TFT resistive touchscreen, 65K colors, 240.0x320.0 display and is available in Stylish black.
The JAMin is equipped with a Removable Li-Po 1200 mAh battery, a 2 MP, CIF main camera. The device uses a Mini-SIM configuration. It weighs 150 g.
Soft Reset on the i-mate JAMin works differently than it does on Android, since this platform uses its own menus and terminology. Follow the steps below, written specifically for this device rather than adapted from Android instructions.
Does not erase any data. Always try this first.
Press and hold the End/Power key on i-mate JAMin for a few seconds until it restarts
If it's unresponsive, remove and reinsert the battery if the back cover is removable
For sealed-battery models, hold the Power key for 15–20 seconds to force a restart
