How to Factory Reset — Motorola MPx
The Motorola MPx is a 2004 Microsoft PocketPC 2003 SE device powered by the TI OMAP 1710 and 32MB internal storage. It features a 2.8", TFT resistive touchscreen, 65k colors, 240.0x320.0 display.
The MPx is equipped with a Removable Li-Ion 960 mAh battery, a 3 MP, Yes main camera. The device uses a Mini-SIM configuration. It weighs 174 g.
Factory Reset on the Motorola MPx works differently than it does on Android, since this platform uses its own menus and terminology. Follow the steps below, written specifically for this device rather than adapted from Android instructions.
All personal data, accounts, and apps will be permanently removed.
Back up your data first — Windows Mobile resets erase everything
From the Today screen, go to Start > Settings > System > Clear Storage
Enter the confirmation code, commonly 1234 by default
Tap 'Yes' to confirm — the device restarts and reinstalls its default configuration
On older stylus models, a physical reset pinhole near the battery only performs a soft restart, not a data wipe
