How to Face Unlock — vivo/iQOO Funtouch/OriginOS
Applies to all vivo/iQOO Funtouch/OriginOS phones and tablets. Menu names may vary slightly by Android version.
Face unlock on your phone uses the front camera to recognize your face and unlock the device automatically. It provides a convenient hands-free authentication method that works in most lighting conditions. Note that face unlock is generally considered less secure than fingerprint or PIN so a backup lock method is always required during setup.
On your phone: open Settings
Tap 'Security' or 'Biometrics'
Tap 'Face unlock' or 'Face recognition'
Set up a PIN backup first if prompted
Follow on-screen instructions and look at the front camera
Move your face slowly to complete the scan
Tap 'Done' when enrollment is complete
To remove: go back to Face unlock settings and tap 'Delete face data'
