Keeping your phone up to date with the latest software ensures you have the most recent security patches, bug fixes, and new features. Regular updates protect your device from known vulnerabilities and often improve battery life and system performance. We recommend always updating over Wi-Fi with the battery charged above 50 percent to avoid interruption.
On your phone: open Settings
Tap 'System'
Tap 'System update' or 'Advanced' > 'System update'
Tap 'Check for update'
If available: tap 'Download and install'
Stay on Wi-Fi with battery above 50%
Phone restarts automatically to apply the update
