How to Fix Bootloop — Honor 4X
The Honor 4X is a 2014 Android 4.4.2 smartphone powered by the Kirin 620 (28 nm) Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 (28 nm) with 2GB and 8GB internal storage. It features a 5.5", IPS LCD, 720.0x1280.0 display and is available in White, Black.
The 4X is equipped with a Li-Po 3000 mAh, non-removable, a 13 MP, 1080p@30fps main camera, a 5 MP, 720p front camera. The device uses a Dual SIM (Micro-SIM, dual stand-by) configuration. It weighs 165 g.
A bootloop on the Honor 4X occurs when the device repeatedly restarts without fully loading Android. This is commonly caused by a failed software update, corrupted system files, or an incompatible app. Most bootloops can be resolved without losing data by clearing the cache partition first before attempting a factory reset.
Factory reset may be needed as a last resort — erases all data.
On your Honor 4X: force restart: hold Power for 15–30 seconds
If still looping: enter Recovery Mode
Navigate to 'Wipe cache partition' → confirm → reboot
If still looping: return to Recovery
Select 'Wipe data/factory reset' → confirm (erases all data)
Last resort: use your manufacturer's PC tool to reinstall firmware
