How to Factory Reset — OnePlus N6
The OnePlus N6 is a 2026 Android 16, OxygenOS 16, up to 2 major Android upgrades smartphone powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 6360 Apex (6 nm). It features a IPS LCD, 120Hz, 975 nits (typ), 1200 nits (HBM) display and is available in Fresh Mint, Midnight Green.

Factory resetting your OnePlus N6 through the Settings menu is the easiest way to erase all personal data and restore the device to factory defaults. This method is ideal when the phone is still accessible and functional. All apps, contacts, photos and accounts will be permanently removed so ensure you have backed up everything important first.

On your OnePlus N6: open Settings
Tap 'System' > 'Reset options'
Tap 'Erase all data (factory reset)'
Tap 'Erase all data'
Enter PIN
Tap 'Erase all data' again
