How to Soft Reset — Samsung Z3
The Samsung Z3 is a 2015 Tizen 2.3, upgradable to 2.4 device powered by the Spreadtrum SC7730 with 1GB and 8GB internal storage. It features a 5.0", Super AMOLED, 720.0x1280.0 display and is available in Black, Silver, Gold.
The Z3 is equipped with a Li-Ion 2600 mAh, removable, a 8 MP, 720p@30fps main camera, a 5 MP front camera. The device uses a Hybrid Dual SIM (Micro-SIM, dual stand-by) configuration. It weighs 137 g.
Soft Reset on the Samsung Z3 works differently than it does on Android, since this platform uses its own menus and terminology. Follow the steps below, written specifically for this device rather than adapted from Android instructions.
Does not erase any data. Always try this first.
Press and hold the End/Power key on Samsung Z3 for a few seconds until it restarts
If it's unresponsive, remove and reinsert the battery if the back cover is removable
For sealed-battery models, hold the Power key for 15–20 seconds to force a restart
