How to Factory Reset — Vertu Constellation

⏱ ~5 min📋 5 steps

The Vertu Constellation is a 2011 Symbian^3, upgradable to Nokia Belle OS device. It features a 3.5", AMOLED, 360.0x640.0 display and is available in Stain/Polished stainless steel, brown/black/pink leather or black alligator skin.

The Constellation is equipped with a Non-removable Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery (BL-5K), a 8 MP, 720p@25fps, 720p@30fps (via SW update) main camera. The device uses a Mini-SIM configuration. It weighs 164 g.

Factory Reset on the Vertu Constellation works differently than it does on Android, since this platform uses its own menus and terminology. Follow the steps below, written specifically for this device rather than adapted from Android instructions.

⚠

All personal data, accounts, and apps will be permanently removed.

1

Back up contacts and messages first — Symbian resets erase everything on the device

2

Open the dialer and enter *#7370# (works on most Symbian S60 phones), or go to Settings > Phone > General > Restore Factory Settings

3

Enter the lock code when prompted — the factory default is usually 12345

4

Confirm and wait for the device to restart

5

If *#7370# doesn't work on your specific model, use the Settings menu path instead
