How to Fix Black Screen — Coolpad Shine
The Coolpad Shine is a 2015 Android 5.1 smartphone powered by the Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 (28 nm) with 2GB and 8GB internal storage. It features a 5.5", IPS LCD, 720.0x1280.0 display and is available in Gold.
The Shine is equipped with a Li-Ion 2500 mAh, non-removable, a 13 MP, 1080p@30fps main camera, a 5 MP front camera. The device uses a Dual SIM configuration.
A black screen on the Coolpad Shine can occur due to a drained battery, a software crash, or the screen becoming unresponsive. In most cases this can be resolved with a force restart or a short charging period without any data loss. Follow the steps below in order before considering a factory reset.
On your Coolpad Shine: charge for 30+ minutes with a different cable and charger
Hold Power for 15–20 seconds
If still black: hold Power + Volume Down for 10 seconds
Try holding Power + Volume Up to enter Recovery Mode
In Recovery: select 'Reboot system now'
If Recovery loads: wipe cache partition then reboot
Last resort: factory reset from Recovery — erases all data
