How to Hard Reset — HTC Evo 4G+
The HTC Evo 4G+ is a 2011 Android 2.3.4 smartphone powered by the Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon S3 with 1GB and 1GB | 4GB internal storage. It features a 4.3", Super LCD, 540.0x960.0 display and is available in Black.

Hard resetting your HTC Evo 4G+ via Recovery Mode will completely wipe all data, apps, accounts and settings, restoring the device to its original factory state. This is commonly used to fix persistent software issues, boot loops, prepare the phone for sale, or recover from a forgotten screen lock. Back up your data before proceeding as this cannot be undone.
All data will be permanently erased. Back up first.
Power off HTC Evo 4G+
Hold Volume Down + Power until Fastboot mode appears
Navigate to 'Recovery mode' — press Power
If 'No command': hold Power then tap Volume Up
Navigate to 'Wipe data/factory reset'
Press Power and confirm 'Factory reset'
Select 'Reboot system now'
