How to Hard Reset — HTC One VX
The HTC One VX is a 2012 Android 4.0 smartphone powered by the Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon 400 (28 nm) with 1GB and 8GB internal storage. It features a 4.5", Super LCD2, 540.0x960.0 display and is available in White, Black, Gray.
The One VX is equipped with a Li-Ion 1800 mAh, non-removable, a 5 MP, 1080p@30fps main camera. The device uses a Micro-SIM configuration. It weighs 124.7 g.
Hard resetting your HTC One VX via Recovery Mode will completely wipe all data, apps, accounts and settings, restoring the device to its original factory state. This is commonly used to fix persistent software issues, boot loops, prepare the phone for sale, or recover from a forgotten screen lock. Back up your data before proceeding as this cannot be undone.
All data will be permanently erased. Back up first.
Power off HTC One VX
Hold Volume Down + Power until Fastboot mode appears
Navigate to 'Recovery mode' — press Power
If 'No command': hold Power then tap Volume Up
Navigate to 'Wipe data/factory reset'
Press Power and confirm 'Factory reset'
Select 'Reboot system now'
