How to Fix Black Screen — HTC Primo
The HTC Primo is a 2012 Android 4.0 smartphone with 512MB and 512MB internal storage. It features a 3.7", Super AMOLED, 480.0x800.0 display and is available in Black.
The Primo is equipped with a Removable Li-Ion battery, a 5 MP, Yes main camera. The device uses a Mini-SIM configuration.
A black screen on the HTC Primo can occur due to a drained battery, a software crash, or the screen becoming unresponsive. In most cases this can be resolved with a force restart or a short charging period without any data loss. Follow the steps below in order before considering a factory reset.
On your HTC Primo: charge for 30+ minutes with a different cable and charger
Hold Power for 15–20 seconds
If still black: hold Power + Volume Down for 10 seconds
Try holding Power + Volume Up to enter Recovery Mode
In Recovery: select 'Reboot system now'
If Recovery loads: wipe cache partition then reboot
Last resort: factory reset from Recovery — erases all data
