How to Soft Reset — Lava Shark

Performing a soft restart on your Lava Shark is the quickest way to resolve minor performance issues, app freezes, or unresponsive touch screens without losing any data. Unlike a factory reset, a soft reset simply reboots the device and clears temporary memory, making it the recommended first step for any troubleshooting.
Does not erase any data. Always try this first.
On your Lava Shark: hold Power for 2 seconds
Tap 'Restart' or 'Reboot' in the menu
Wait ~30–60 seconds for the restart to complete
Force restart if frozen: hold Power for 10–15 seconds until screen goes black
Device reboots automatically — no data is lost
