How to Fix Black Screen — Micromax A80
The Micromax A80 is a 2012 Android 2.3.4 smartphone powered by the Mediatek MT6573 (65 nm) with 256MB and 256MB internal storage. It features a 3.8", TFT, 256K colors, 320.0x480.0 display and is available in Black.
The A80 is equipped with a Removable Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery, a Yes main camera. The device uses a Dual SIM (Mini-SIM, dual stand-by) configuration.
A black screen on the Micromax A80 can occur due to a drained battery, a software crash, or the screen becoming unresponsive. In most cases this can be resolved with a force restart or a short charging period without any data loss. Follow the steps below in order before considering a factory reset.
On your Micromax A80: charge for 30+ minutes with a different cable and charger
Hold Power for 15–20 seconds
If still black: hold Power + Volume Down for 10 seconds
Try holding Power + Volume Up to enter Recovery Mode
In Recovery: select 'Reboot system now'
If Recovery loads: wipe cache partition then reboot
Last resort: factory reset from Recovery — erases all data
