How to Soft Reset — Pantech Element
The Pantech Element is a 2012 Android 4.0 smartphone powered by the Qualcomm APQ8060 Snapdragon S3 with 1GB and 16GB internal storage. It features a 8.0", TFT, 768.0x1024.0 display and is available in Black.
The Element is equipped with a Non-removable Li-Ion 6400 mAh battery, a 5 MP, 720p main camera, a 2 MP front camera. The device uses a Micro-SIM configuration. It weighs 469.8 g.
Performing a soft restart on your Pantech Element is the quickest way to resolve minor performance issues, app freezes, or unresponsive touch screens without losing any data. Unlike a factory reset, a soft reset simply reboots the device and clears temporary memory, making it the recommended first step for any troubleshooting.
Does not erase any data. Always try this first.
On your Pantech Element: hold Power for 2 seconds
Tap 'Restart' or 'Reboot' in the menu
Wait ~30–60 seconds for the restart to complete
Force restart if frozen: hold Power for 10–15 seconds until screen goes black
Device reboots automatically — no data is lost
