Recovery Mode on the Sonim XP6 is a special bootable partition that operates independently from the main Android system. Access it carefully as some options will erase all data.

Power off Sonim XP6
Hold Volume Down + Power until Recovery appears
Navigate with Volume, confirm with Power
To exit: select 'Reboot system now'
