How to Soft Reset — ZTE Open

Soft Reset on the ZTE Open works differently than it does on Android, since this platform uses its own menus and terminology. Follow the steps below, written specifically for this device rather than adapted from Android instructions.
Does not erase any data. Always try this first.
Press and hold the End/Power key on ZTE Open for a few seconds until it restarts
If it's unresponsive, remove and reinsert the battery if the back cover is removable
For sealed-battery models, hold the Power key for 15–20 seconds to force a restart
