How to Fix Bootloop — Dell Streak
The Dell Streak is a 2010 Android OS 1.6 smartphone powered by the Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon S1 with 512MB and 16GB internal storage. It features a 5.0", TFT, 480.0x800.0 display and is available in Black, Red, white.
The Streak is equipped with a Removable Li-Ion 1530 mAh battery, a 5 MP, 480p@20fps; 720p (via SW update) main camera. The device uses a Mini-SIM configuration. It weighs 220 g.
A bootloop on the Dell Streak occurs when the device repeatedly restarts without fully loading Android. This is commonly caused by a failed software update, corrupted system files, or an incompatible app. Most bootloops can be resolved without losing data by clearing the cache partition first before attempting a factory reset.
Factory reset may be needed as a last resort — erases all data.
On your Dell Streak: force restart: hold Power for 15–30 seconds
If still looping: enter Recovery Mode
Navigate to 'Wipe cache partition' → confirm → reboot
If still looping: return to Recovery
Select 'Wipe data/factory reset' → confirm (erases all data)
Last resort: use your manufacturer's PC tool to reinstall firmware
