How to Hard Reset — Doogee V40
The Doogee V40 is a 2024 Android 14 smartphone powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 (4 nm) with 12GB and 512GB internal storage. It features a 6.8", IPS LCD, 120Hz, 1080.0x2460.0 display and is available in Blue, Black/Red.
The V40 is equipped with a 8680 mAh, a 108 MP, 1080p@30fps, gyro-EIS main camera, a 16 MP, 1080p@30fps front camera. The device uses a Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM configuration.
Hard resetting your Doogee V40 via Recovery Mode will completely wipe all data, apps, accounts and settings, restoring the device to its original factory state. This is commonly used to fix persistent software issues, boot loops, prepare the phone for sale, or recover from a forgotten screen lock. Back up your data before proceeding as this cannot be undone.
All data will be permanently erased. Back up first.
Power off Doogee V40
Hold Volume Down + Power until Recovery appears
Navigate to 'Wipe data/factory reset'
Press Power — confirm 'Yes' or 'Factory reset'
Wait for completion
Select 'Reboot system now'
