Factory Reset Protection on your phone is a security feature that requires the previously linked Google account to be verified after a factory reset. This prevents unauthorized use of the device if it is lost or stolen. The steps below are intended for legitimate owners who have forgotten their account credentials and need to regain access to their own device.

On your phone: ⚠ For legitimate owners only — bypassing FRP on a device you do not own is illegal.
Connect to WiFi on setup screen
Tap 'Forgot password' at Google account verification
Complete account recovery via email or phone number
Sign in to continue setup
