Mobile data on your phone allows you to access the internet, send messages and use apps when you are away from a Wi-Fi network using your carrier's cellular connection. Managing your data usage is important to avoid exceeding your plan limit and incurring extra charges. The steps below show you how to enable, disable and monitor data usage on your device.

1

On your phone: open Settings > Mobile data

2

Toggle 'Mobile data' ON

3

To monitor usage: scroll down to see per-app breakdown

4

To set a data limit: tap 'Data warning & limit'

5

For data saving mode: Settings > Network & internet > Data Saver

6

If data is not working: check the SIM card is properly inserted

7

Toggle Airplane mode on and off to reset the connection

8

Contact your carrier if data still does not connect
