How to Fix Black Screen — BLU Magic
The BLU Magic is a 2011 Android 2.2 smartphone powered by the Qualcomm MSM7227 Snapdragon S1 with 256MB and 512MB internal storage. It features a 3.2", TFT, 256K colors, 320.0x480.0 display and is available in Black, White.
The Magic is equipped with a Removable Li-Ion 1450 mAh battery, a 15 MP, 320p@18fps main camera. The device uses a Mini-SIM configuration.
A black screen on the BLU Magic can occur due to a drained battery, a software crash, or the screen becoming unresponsive. In most cases this can be resolved with a force restart or a short charging period without any data loss. Follow the steps below in order before considering a factory reset.
On your BLU Magic: charge for 30+ minutes with a different cable and charger
Hold Power for 15–20 seconds
If still black: hold Power + Volume Down for 10 seconds
Try holding Power + Volume Up to enter Recovery Mode
In Recovery: select 'Reboot system now'
If Recovery loads: wipe cache partition then reboot
Last resort: factory reset from Recovery — erases all data
