How to Enable Fingerprint β€” Samsung One UI

Setting up fingerprint unlock on your phone provides fast and secure access to your device without needing to enter a PIN or password each time. The fingerprint sensor reads the unique patterns of your fingerprint and matches them in milliseconds. You can register multiple fingerprints and use them to unlock the phone, confirm payments, and authenticate apps.

On your phone: open Settings

Tap 'Biometrics and security'

Tap 'Fingerprints'

Enter your PIN or password

Tap 'Add fingerprint'

Place finger on sensor repeatedly until complete

Tap 'Done' β€” up to 4 fingerprints can be added

To remove: Settings > Biometrics > Fingerprints > select > Remove
