Transferring data from your old phone to your phone allows you to move contacts, photos, messages, apps and settings without starting from scratch. Android and Samsung both offer built-in transfer tools that make this process straightforward. Using a USB cable provides the fastest transfer speeds while wireless methods offer more convenience and flexibility.
Open Smart Switch on your new Samsung (pre-installed)
On old phone: Smart Switch > Send data
On new phone: Smart Switch > Receive data
Connect both phones with USB-C or use wireless
Select what to transfer: Contacts, Photos, Apps, Settings
Tap Transfer and keep both phones connected
